attempting to award Gore additional votes from incomplete and untimely recounts; If there were problems with the recounts, it was because of the Republican machine, specificly Cathy Harris meddling, pausing, sending bogus requirements, and otherwise harasing the recounts. They should have just proceeded as stated under Florida law and as requested by Gore. If the recounts were not to everyone's satisfaction then it was the Republican meddling that was the reason. The Florida Supreme Court was correct to be outraged and to demand that a reasonable effort be made to count all the votes. It was the USSC which was both incompetent and partisan. TP
