Well, on the OK to lie/commit perjury, there's always the other Bill's shining example. That whole browser war? The one he declared on December 7, 1995, a day that will live in infamy? He can't remember a thing about it! That's the honest truth! That Netscape meeting, it was just to tell them about this cool stuff in Windows 95! Think they're going to file charges on that one?
You want to go on the Christian Nation/Moral Majority crusade, be my guest. I'm always getting lectured on how unfair it is to apply such criteria to standard Microsoft business practice, but I'm sure that's entirely different. Then, there's the various New Testament parables that don't seem to be too relevant here, let he who is without sin. . . The camel and the eye of a needle. . . Remove the mote from your own eye. . . Judge not lest thee be judged. . . All that kind of stuff. There was this commie rewrite that somebody snuck in there, you know. It'll get fixed some day.
Somehow, I don't think WHGIII would be that well received in Japanese business circles either, with their ritual politeness and respect. Or maybe I heard wrong.
