Global economy has no new story. Need a new story.

The 80s had the Corporate raider, re-engineering the corporation, The Competitive Advantage of Nations of Michael E. Porter. The Yuppie supplied the people, and the place were US Japan and Europe

Tech of the late 90s was a very good story. The story must be compelling. Need to put together PEOPLE BUSINESS PLACE and be easy to understand,

...
Like the tech story of late 90s. It had everything. The Internet. It had Silicon Valley. The Scandinavian countries.
Cisco Nokia Oracle Ericsson. Very easy to grasp as people were seeing the Internet cheaper PCs and mobile phones

The BRIC story replaced the tech story. It had China, who could miss China? But China alone could no carry the story. Thus let bundle Brazil India and Russia.

The United States Shale story is not bad but it lacks the PLACE component. It is the case of a US based story. Has no glamour.

We need a new story to make money move. Galvanize people's mind and influence the influenceable i.e., the youth and the media.

The only story we have now is the shale oil one. And it is a story that cannot be replicated, else people would be drilling for shape everywhere, noting that shale is available in many countries.

I am still thinking…
