Matsushita licenses the decryption technology. Cube will license it and update their chip to integrate it. The new chip will be pin compatible with the current chip. I believe the current board design Cube offers, allows you install the decryption chip for current production runs and eliminate the Decryption chip when the Decryption becomes integrated in the new version.
