Personally, I don't wear perfume. But I do wear deoderant. You couldn't possibly smell it, but believe me if you could I'll bet you'd prefer it to the smell of my perspiration.

As for perfumes being an assault, I don't experience them in that way. But I understand how you could. But only a minor assault. I can see banning them at wine tastings. On the other hand I do experience a lot of loud noises that people make and a lot of things that people say as an assault, not to mention cigarette smoke.

It seems to me we are assaulted by others almost constantly in some way. Still, if we were to outlaw everything that someone experienced as an assault, we would be pretty limited. Would you have the government ban perfumes, motorcycle noise, etc.? Where do you draw the line?
