Right. But I think it gets added with Microcode once the the licensing issues are resolved. As far as I know everyones in the same boat. Everybody is scrambling to resolve the licensing issue before they can integrate it. Matsushita appears to be in the cat birds seat on this one. no U.S. vendor -- of hardware or software -- can offer a DVD solution until the decryption license issue is resolved. That is a serious concern for C-Cube, which intends to integrate decryption hardware onto its chip as soon as it can obtain a license. "All I can say is that we have worked with the encryption committee from an early stage, and we may have overcome some of the hurdles that other U.S. vendors still face," Chao said. "What our customers will do initially is use an external decryption chip, and then migrate to our pin-compatible part with on-chip decryption when it becomes available."
