Talked to Chris @ OPW today. Lets see... - recent momentum due to closeology to Hixon(as per Chris) - latest slide = profit taking due to large runup (as per Chris) - Ashanti giving OPW runaround about JV (OPW may have 100% by default) - OPW seeking JV's for Argentina properties (much interest) - OPW hopes to begin trenching Ghana properties around Valentines Day with or without Ashanti (FEB 14 for you forgetful guys out there) - rainy season OK for trenching as long as they have all the camp and equipment out there (hard to travel) - OPW currently has 6.3 mil shares o/s and $3 mil in the bank - no financing planned for near future ($3M plenty for current plans) - Canacoord and Marathon have large holdings of OPW(don't really know if this is good or bad) - Chris talks VERY fast so I may have missed something else :~) Hope this helps.
