Not only did I not hold onto the puts long enough, but I bought some calls when I thought the market was turning around. Bought them Thurs. night at 1.50 and they ended the day at 3.00, but lost all value on Friday. They did go up to about $7.00 at one point but I missed it. There has to be a diciplined way to play a stradle in the last week of trading and make a lot of money. This week was ideal, but it seems that even in a normal market a move of 3-15 points should be normal in the last couple of trading days.
