They have been a rumor candidate for a mega-merger by possibly Hong Kong's largest bank. Also, I wouldn't be surprise if Citicorp would like to look at this merger possibility since rumors of Chase's interest in Merrill Lynch would change the investment banking world which JP is very strong.
