In my opinion, until we have some major changes in policy in this country at a minimum recycling systems will always be more costly to operate than new manufacturing. There is no incentive for manufacturers to utilize recycled materials in their materials inv. furthermore recycled parts usually cost more. So, while it may be a great idea I am a bit dubious as to its growth potential. Just because the national labs and DOE have endorsed this technology means nothing.
