I stayed until about 8:00 last night at work to gather research on companies to short, and (not surprisingly) found a majority of the crummiest garbage with poor charts having 'Buy' or 'Strong Buy' recommendations. Analysts that have company-related interests in underwriting fees are generally the most useless when it comes to independent thinking. That's too bad the average investor gets sucked into these stories. Rainier
