I haven't looked at LHSP closely, other than to have followed the news. If one believes the news reports, it looks like pure accounting fraud rather than an attempt at window dressing. If so, the main question will be who knew about it and when.

I hadn't been thinking about this kind of thing when I started this thread, but I see no reason not to include suspect accounting tricks and outright fraud as entirely appropriate to the thread's spirit...and will revise the thread header appropriately.
