For a great view on how the world is changing and the companies that will make the most of it, like Microsoft I suggest you try and get hold of the book by Harry S Dent jnr titled Job Shock. The book makes a strong argument as to the new low inflation environment and how most are working smarter and more productively due to the advances in Technology. After you have read the book I am sure that you will buy more Microsoft and ignore the dips. Interesting to note how many times Intel have split and the latest news from Hewlett Packard doing the same.
