Reporter Jennifer Lanthier says it is the latest twist to a long-running dispute between venture capitalist Quorum and ISG, a medical software company in which it holds a seven per-cent stake. During the past two weeks the two sides have argued over whether Quorum should have access to a list of ISG shareholders in its bid to unseat the company's directors and management. By late last week, however, they were arguing over whether ISG could get a list of Quorum's shareholders. When Quorum refused, they ended up on Monday in the courtroom of Justice Katharine Feldman. ISG has no "proper purpose" in seeking the list, according to Quorum lawyer Ken Rosenberg. ISG lawyer Sean Dunphy says the company wants the list to communicate with Quorum shareholders, who may lobby Quorum management to change its approach to ISG.
