Is anyone still following Acorn ? I`m still holding shares from the 56 cent leval where I started buying.
Results should be released soon. I think Recticon had a soft quarter
and MAY be written down. Still, with the shares at $1.56 and NCA at $2.81 fully diluted I think its MORE than reflected in the stock price.
Management still seems confident regarding Rections long-term prospects.
I think that all the insider buying last year was related to a control issue. (Management wanted to make sure they had 50%.)
Now AVP (a 20% holder) doesnt seem to want to keep buying like they had in the past. And speculation exists (at least in my mind) on whether they want out. Obviously they cant sell 20% without a big money buyer.
At this point I`m not a buyer or a seller. I suspect I`d buy more on a pullback and am content holding my current position. Would like to
see more insider buying a few days after the release although I`m not sure it`ll happen.
Anyone care to comment ??
