Stiff price competition and high unit volumes are the friend of semiconductor equipment stocks. There might be some order push-outs,but in the long term how are you going to compete. 1. get your yields up-how? KLAC 2. In semiconductors the newest factory will have the best yields. 3. IF your 300mm factory is operating at capacity you will have the best pricing. This downtown is a temporary thing. People are buying KLAC because they are dominant in a field that will do well in the next couple of years. my 2 cents david
