it's politics.. we have a number of senators etc who support putting corn in gasoline and would support a bill to subsidize it. why? there are lots of votes out in the mid west . bradley in new jersey when running for president supported it.. kerry supported when running. yet, prior to running for president as i remember they were against gasohol. Of course that was when they ran for election in their own state.
