i fall into the camp which believes extreme and growing merchandise trade deficits are not only undesirable but are actually a disturbing symptom of a nation in decline. Yep, I agree with that point. On a personal point I hope to move back to the USA at some time. I just like it over there. A second point. Most countries would like to see the USA to continue to prosper imho. Some of the ideas and things coming out of the USA have been first rate. Sure, some things are not right in the USA and some focus is needed. OTOH lots of things are just oh so correct -g- best wishes, pearly.
