I tell you, I never thought I would live to see the day a president of this country would intentionally try to take this country down. It makes little difference whether it's by design or solely as a result of his stupidity and arrogance, the end result will be the same.
Before Chevy closed those facilities they saw the price for steel they purchased go up by 700 million dollars as a result of Trump's tariffs, which would have obviously played some part in their decision to shut down those factories. And now all signs indicate Trump will be raising those 10% tariffs on Chinese goods to 25% come January 1st, and adding tariffs to an addition 267 billion dollars’ worth of goods, knowing the Chinese will retaliate with more tariffs on U.S. products. Or, because he knows what will happen if he doesn't back down, he will likely have to give in to all China's demands. Farmers are plowing their crops under because of Trump and his ill-conceived tariffs. The stock market is tanking out of fears that our economy will collapse next year - all as a result of Trump's policies. We have an administration that condones the killing of journalists while at the same time cozies up to our enemies and attacks our allies. Because of his policies we have border patrol agents using tear gas on women and children. He attacks our justice system as they attempt to seek justice. And what might be worst of all, we have families being torn apart with battles between those that hate and those trying to salvage what's left of this country.
How much more evidence do we need that the Russians knew this was going to happen when they were swaying the election in favor of a corrupt business owner who's 3 billion dollars of wealth was at the expense of cheating creditors, investors, contractors, students (Trump University), veterans, charitable foundations, and the ignorant out of 16.5 billion dollars over the years. Trump is nothing more than a pawn being used by our enemies to destroy us from within. What's even sicker is he knows all this and yet he continues. Trump is no patriot like his followers would like us to believe. Just the opposite. He cares nothing for this country. He only cares about his own self-preservation, his image, and how much money he can make off this country of ours. |
