Actually I just called my broker to ask for another 1,000 shares to short (honest). "No can do " was the answer. So the good news for the longs is that the shorts are still powerless to push the stock lower and all the longs have to do is to get longer. The bad news is that the recent bounce has not been due to short covering and that is not good.
