2 billion in revenues for cable modems. Over how many years. If all goes well with the cable companies rollout , maybe 2 million units will be sold next year.Price will become very competitive so a unit will be under $200. That makes for a $400,000,000 market to be divided between all manufactures. Coms might get 50 million best case next year (realistically more like 30). This is the U.S. market only. I'm not familiar with the overseas cable market.Don't expect the cable modem market to really pick up momentum till 99.
