P.S. I currently hope to get an invitation to a Washington Wine Event in autumn as an 'European wine expert' despite being simply a drunkard with educated taste. (I love the Merlots from Walla Walla and from (no joke!) Willamette Valley). To combine this visit with a SI lunch would be really exciting: kind of "Close Encounter of the Second Kind" <g>

The Willamette wines are Oregon wines....palatible in a pinch. We let them participate because, of course, they are neighbors. I don't even want to hear it Milo, Ptanner, Ten, et al....LOL.

I have not been to the festival but will go if you make it.

P.S.2. Thanks for your tips about tech stocks. I added some to my watch list. There are some nice possibilities here around too. I had a nice low risk ten-bagger. Combining currency issues can incidentally add some grains to your profit. I mean, I have a nice 30% bonus on my AMD investment right now.

If you go with any of my tips, make sure you watch them closely.....whether the fear of interest rates is real or not, many of the tech charts are broken (not the ones I gave) and there will not be a good recovery for a while. Another one I don't think I mentioned is TLGD....doing almost as well as AMD.

I bet you guys have better stock picks right now. One that I own is AREM....its just bought Globalsoft and is a Greek firm based out of Cyprus. Had a really good quarter....stock chart is somewhat damaged...however I bought at 8 so it doesn't matter. I think its a comer.
