In addition, the uniquely compact 3404DI is equipped with various automated, labor saving devices that require less floor space, and make operator training easy. The result is a highly efficient press, offered at a very affordable price point. The 3404DI will meet customer demands for a variety of short-run color printing applications.''
Presstek President and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Hallman said, ``We are delighted with Ryobi's introduction of the 3404DI. This press represents an important addition to those categories of commercial printers whose quantity and response time needs are uniquely satisfied at a cost made possible due to the novel design of the 3404DI.''
Ryobi anticipates that the primary market for the RYOBI 3404DI will be commercial printers, repro shops and in-plants. Advertising and design agencies are also expected to be users because of the 3404DI's unique compact design, high quality and superior performance. The press will be sold worldwide through Ryobi's sales channels, as well as by Presstek on an OEM basis. Ryobi has scheduled delivery of the press to begin in December 2000.
