Denise, A good little company for those interested in small-caps is Q-Media Services (TSE:QMS). The company is a software manufacturer, mostly CD-ROM duplication.

They just reported another stellar quarter (3rd Q fiscal 1998). The company has a strong balance sheet and is in growth mode. The negative is that the company is relatively unknown and the stock is illiquid. That is beginning to change albeit slowly. The stock is for patient investors with a long-term outlook.

Q-Media could earn $0.28 per share this year and the stock is only about $2.35. Acumen has a research report on the company with a one year target of $5.00.

This stock is not for traders.
