This news is great to see!
Unfortunately, as has been the case for the last number of days, I will be away from my system for much of the day, and I'll talk to everyone later. However, I will say that they are now moving from concept to implementation. This demo project could open up a realm of possibilities for them.

ktopia's technology will enable on-line volunteers to contribute to charity
ATLANTA, GA and BRIDGEWATER, NJ Monday, June 12, 2000 ? ktopia announced today a technology demonstration project for a customer of ktopia's e-commerce services that will also benefit Camp Dream, a Georgia-based camp for physically disabled children, while additionally enabling young professionals from the Atlanta Junior Chamber of Commerce to experience working on the Internet in a unique and collaborative way.
By participating in ktopia's demonstration of its online Internet community, the Atlanta Junior Chamber will earn money for one of their key local charities ? Camp Dream. The Atlanta Junior Chamber is providing volunteers to categorize websites into topical categories; such as Sports, Arts & Entertainment, History, and News; for a pilot customer of ktopia's eCommerce services. "This is a really exciting fundraising opportunity," said Denise Grogg of the Camp Dream Foundation. "It shows that the Internet opens up new fundraising possibilities for the not-for-profit sector. We really appreciate the Junior Chamber's support for our summer camping programs. The children involved are recovering from birth defects, polio and a wide range of other disabilities and this kind of support makes a big difference."
