it will be an interesting 3 weeks. i was playing basketball today and my guy got a little frustrated after i dropped 3 three pointers and a couple layups on him. he couldn't get any space while attacking the basket, so he dropped his shoulder and gave me an elbow in the rib cage that would make your local mixed martial artist proud. the fact he was mostly muscle and outweighed me by 30 lbs didn't help much.

i finished up and played two more games, but i don't think i'll be doing any pull ups on tuesday. if i twist wrong, it hurts badly. talking hurts a bit, too, so my wife is happy. ;-)

another point comes to mind - the past 8 months have been pretty crappy to me - 2 back injuries, a county wide fire, 2 low level bouts of inflammation that prevent me from working out (inflamed nerve = no work out), 2.5 months of plantar fasciitis and now busted up ribs (hopefully, it is just slight bone/cartilage separation and not a fracture). in spite of all the crappy stuff, my diet has allowed me to achieve some very good results.

the stars don't need to align to lose 1-2 lbs a week and gain significant strength and muscle mass, rather, you just need a hormonally balanced diet. it is your hormonal system that controls muscle building and it is your hormonal system that controls excess fat loss.

dr sears was interviewed by a local new station:

while he doesn't look to be in super shape, he is the only recent male in his family to live beyond 60 - so he looks darn good for a guy who ought to be dead (his father died at 54, his father's three brothers died before they hit 60, too - all from heart disease). the one zone dieter out of all of the five made it past 60.

whether you believe it or not, food acts as a drug and hormones respond to what you eat. eat right and all sorts of good things happen. eat wrong and all sorts of bad things happen.

many people have been able to their blood work much more using the zone than any drug or combination of drugs on the market could ever do - and the zone has the side effect of excess fat loss and making one feel absolutely great.

there is only one diet that lays claim to being hormonally balanced - the zone diet. this is why the heaviest man in the world and olympic athletes both do amazingly well on the very same diet!

let atkins, dr. oz, south beach, weight watchers, jenny craig, etc. fans buy their gold at the jewelry store. get on the zone and watch olympic athletes rake in more gold medals and manuel uribe reach his target weight after losing 1,000 lbs of excess fat and water.

he's already lost 400 lbs while sitting in his bed - and he feels great, too!
