That's what is so interesting about the two....Great job on the early Microsoft....and yet, Gates is one of the very few who has stayed with his company and grown it to a MEGA Corp...! Most entrepreneurs never make good CEO/Presidents of their own country. They are all about being creative. Paul Allen on the other hand, was all about creative...still is, as near as I can tell. Look at the Music Experience Museum in Seattle (commonly known in Seattle as the Barf Building... with GREAT sound effects), and he has spent boucoup millions in renovating old Seattle near the waterfront and the sports stadiums....But look at the companies he held stock in, and you will see the LARGE FAT Goose Egg ! Especially to the stockholders.
