LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- A dramatic new 360-degree television
viewing technology will debut at next month's Consumer Electronics Show in Las
Vegas, Nevada. A press conference set by officials of E.S.P. Electronics,
Incorporated for Friday, January 9th at 2:30 p.m. in Room N-247 of the Las
Vegas Convention Center will introduce the technology and provide details on a
thousand-unit collectors' edition of the system.
"The applications are endless," states E.S.P. founder Gregory D. Levy.
The 360-degree television displays the same images shown on current TV sets,
but patented technology allows viewers on all sides of the unit to see the
display "head on." Levy says that while the technology is fully compatible
with existing analog and digital TV signals, its "in the round" viewing radius
will revolutionize a host of entertainment, commercial and industrial uses for
video display.
The limited collectors' edition of the system features exterior casing
designed by world-renowned architect Frank 0. Gehry, who is expected to attend
the press conference together with Levy.
E.S.P. Electronics, Inc. is a privately held California corporation
created to develop and produce quality 360-degree television systems for
commercial and consumer electronics markets.
