Well, I really don't see the basis for your opinion and hindsight is always 20/20 as they say.... BUT it is unfortunate that those who have an irrational hatred for GWB (not speaking of yourself who I do not include in that Bush hating moron club) have chosen to try and blacken his eye over this matter and the alleged "stinginess" of the US.....especially in light of the ramifications it has for the ongoing war in Iraq and against Islamofascists, perceptions in the Muslim world, etc......Hopefully those ill chosen and ill timed words will be overwritten by the images of US naval personnel and Marines assisting the survivors, delivering food and other aid and medical care, etc.....DOD alone has been spending over $6 million per day on the relief effort......not included in Bush's pledge of $350,000.00 in aid. I believe firmly in freedom of speech....BUT I also believe it is a right which must be exercised responsibly and with consideration of the facts and circumstance which surround the exercise of that right.....in this case IMHO.....those who seek to denigrate this country and its President over such a tragedy are beneath contempt...... J.
