Lizzy is a great person. I wish she would post here more often. And yes, I clearly told Tim he is welcome also, as long as he DISCUSSES things and doesnt argue with everybody.
No offense Greg, but this is a good board with good people. Tim has a habit of engaging everybody in arguments if they dont agree with him. It is no fun to watch. Even when they cry uncle, he doesn't let up. I simply dont want to see that type of behavior on this board. Like I said in my post, he is welcome here to post anytime he wishes, but I did ask him not to post, if it isnt going to be mature, adult discussion. I have no desire to watch him attack and argue with people, and I dont think anybody else wants to watch that either. So yes, of course he is welcome to post, as I said in my original post, but I did ask him, to not post if it was going to be a dogfight.
We already have anough problems in this world. I know I certainly dont want to look for info on stocks, or discussion on the economy, world events and etc, and be subjected to watching people argue. That should be done in another place, or in private. Lizzy is a great person. Her opinion, differed from Tim's somewhat, and I could tell just by looking at tims first couple posts, that he was doing his normal thing. Pointing out how wrong lizzie was and how right he was. I could see it escalating, as tim doesnt let up on people, and simply did not want to see that happen on this board. No problem when 2 people dont agree and discuss it rationally and maturely, but no offense, Tim does not normally do that. He is right. No other opinion is acceptable, and if you try and discuss it with him, it is fruitless as he puts on the boxing gloves.
Just click on him and read his posts. Go back years if you want. What you will see is a person engaging many people in battle, at the same time. I dont think this is coincidence. It's the way he operates. And like I said, I have no problem if he wants to post here, but I have no desire to watch him start engaging people in battle. |
