Dave - I quickly read through the Talkback thread on ZDNet. Mostly reputing Joe Greps "Athlon 1 GHz actually = 340 MHz" and the "PR Rating" but still some very nice enthusiasm for AMD's products. Everytime I read general AMD boards (ie. non-SI) I am reminded of the much higher signal:noise ratio here (and the OT is much higher quality as well), the more civil environment, and the joy of reading messages 10 at a time rather than the world-wide wait (even with cable). We live in more interesting times with the Athlon -- and I believe with the Mustang on the horizon the excitement will continue throughout 2000. PT
