The average Joe computer user doesn't know the Privacy risks and Security risks out there. A friend of mine soon to be Sun Certified (Sun Microsystems) is in my opinion an expert at INTERNET security. He has told me some scary stories.

Anyone that uses a computer should have a little knowledge of some of the risks out there while you are browsing. I know some of the risks are small, but they are there.

Check these out:
anonymizer.com

zdnet.com

zdnet.com

seamless.com

Oh, and when I started using computers and on-line chat groups some 10 years ago, my computer gurus always told me to use a "nickname" in any chat / discussion group. Not because you are hiding anything, just because there are some "unstable" people out there.

Security / Privacy risks on the Internet are real.
