That't the price that my stop loss kicked in at - 8 13/16. I am out of AXC. Many thanks to all who made this the BEST newsgroup ever! In the end, I felt there is too much competition to let Ampex ride to the starriest heights. If I had to bet, I'd predict that AXC might hit $20 in 1997, but it could just as easily trade down to $6 or even lower if the big boys keep on making announcements and upping the ante on data storage "breakthroughs". But who am I to contradict CEO Bramson, who knows a lot more than I do. I will be lurking from time to time, waiting to pounce on an opporunity to get back in if the price drops to an absurdly low level.
