You are forgetting that Zionism was declared in the late 1800's and the Arabs were aware of their designs. The Arabs were not opposed to re-locating Jews who were fleeing Europe, but they were adament to allow anyone who wanted to claim to be Jewish and de-stabilize Palestine.
Show me where refugees (in a strict sense of the word, not someone claiming persecution in Baltimore and a need to emigrate to Palestine) where the Arabs attacked the refugees?

In your hypothetical example, if the majority of those Len Grasso's were on the other side of the globe and could not or would not want to be located anywhere else than where they wished, if the indigenous population saw fit to accept them, then they would be relocated there. If they used their own tragedy to exploit the events to declare a State for all Len Grasso's who claim to have Biblical justification, to invite all their friends elsewhere in the world, then this is not ethical or moral.
