We tried to provide education about healthy eating. It was really frustrating. So many were fat, because of the cheap, hi carb, hi cal junk they bought, but as one woman said (closest to the Welfare queen image in attitude I saw), Why should my children not have cokes and chips like other normal kids? Why should they suffer? She was definitely one of the ones we should have slipped your contraceptives to.... But that is an area the law is pretty careful with. I remember having a very retarded girl who got pregnant. Back then, the dr. just quietly tied her tubes. That would be a huge lawcase these days. How dare we do something like that! As another client said, it's my Godgiven right to have babies! You can't tell me not to. Maybe not, but damn, we sure should be able to say, fine, no more money. Then take the baby is she can't provide for it. Yeah, I know. No way is that going to happen.
