Dan,
Though it evidently has fallen on deaf ears, I thank you for that explanation to our avid reader of literature, the Duke.
How life imitates art - sometimes, in some ways. What is taking place now, though funny in certain respects - thanks in no small degree to some of the more outrageous and comical characters in our field, and I am the first to say I certainly can step back and see the humor - is in most, however, one of the most melancholy tales you will ever hear. A lot of people's lives have been destroyed by some considerably evil and corrupt souls. When it comes out, it is my great hope that everyone here at SI and across the country will take a few moments to step away from the wildness of the markets, and consider the wake of desolation that has been left behind. The consequences have been enduring sadness, heartbreak and despair for many real people. In the stock markets, how easy that is to forget. I hope on at least one day soon, people will remember.
Best Regards,
