Yes Gore seems to be the most "acceptable" now, apart from the wild card of Obama (and who knows how that would work out?). But the question becomes, does Al want to run? I tell you, when I talked to he and two friends of his 11 months ago the answer was no. Has anything changed since then? No sign yet. My impression was that Gore was very happy enjoying life with Tipper and all kinds of interesting friends, having the freedom to travel around delivering the word about Global Warming and making a difference on his own schedule and terms.

Remember, President can be an infuriating job, and the process of getting there will take 5 years off your life. Plus, why did Gore concede to easily in Florida? Why did he dump CLinton? Why did he pick Lieberman? Some people say he's more comfortable finishing second, psychologically speaking.
