WR, 100,000 to 300,000 barrels of oil a day unaccounted for in Iraq Oh.. so now the Americans are "stealing" Iraqi oil, are we? Geezus weeps!!.. how little you know about the Iraqi people and the culture of smuggling that has ALWAYS pervaded certain segments of that society. Fallujah and Ramadi was notorius for oil smuggling to both Jordan and Syria. The Saudis hardly need oil smuggled in. But the Jordanians and Syrians are ALWAYS hurting for oil, having so little of it themselves and oil smuggling in the Anbar province has been a lucrative enterprise for decades, even under Saddam.
