What I have said is, the US controls Iraqi oil as part of its military occupation of Iraq. None of the spin you have been posting changes a thing. The US has not yet publicized what it will do about old contracts from Russia and China -- these have yet to be acted on and that leaves some room to try to buy-off these countries in return for some show of support for the US military occupation. Countries like Poland are lining up to be rewarded for their loyalty to the US with new contracts are in the works as we speak. If Iraq is ever liberated, the US will dictate terms to the Iraqis.
