When you believe in absolutism, then that is when you are being ideological. People have shades of grey, black and white. So your never Trumper attitude, even when it is bad for this country strikes me as being the victimology. I'm a patriot and love this country. Trump is our President, like him or not. When he tries to do something good for this country, he will get my full throated support. When he does or says stupid things like he believes Putin over our intel agencies, I can understand why he might not trust our intel agencies, given that they abuse him, but I cannot condone him saying he'd believe Putin, a known criminal dictator, who violates American values.
So it's people like you who are the problem. You want Trump to fail so bad that you are ok with a failure of his being bad for the American people, as long as it makes him look bad. I would rather have the Democrats look great, if it was good for the American people. That's because my heart and mind are in the right place. Yours are not.
Right now, I'm watching the MSM and you wish Trump failure on North Korea. That makes the MSM and you an enemy of the American people. It is in our interest that Trump succeeds there. If you can't see that, then you are blinded by your hatred of him and that is not acceptable for an adult to be so childish as that. So stop being a sniveling child, grow up, and act like a man.
