The 440EX is the best competitor to the Trio3D if it integrates 2D capabilities. I wonder if anyone on this thread can give information on how many gates are required for a 250Mhz RAMDAC, and all other relevant 2D circuitry? It might give some idea behind the possible gate counts of the next generation (2-3 after EX) chip sets. BL
