I believe he wanted to strengthen radical Islam. Otherwise, he is one of the stupidest people to ever walk the planet, if he could not have foreseen these outcomes. Most of the people on this board seem like foreign policy experts compared to the moron in the White House.

Also, he is basically telling Iran, "Go ahead and build nuclear weapons to wipe out Israel, we have no problem with that."
