I think the criticism that may come will be from people who, in the investing domain and all other aspects of how they live their lives, simply do not take personal responsibility. They live lives in which they skirt the consequences of their own actions by serving up a brew of blame onto others.

I agree.

I am currently reading Tom Brokaw's book, "The Greatest Generation," about the World War II generation and their coming of age in during the period. Talk about a generation that took responsibility and talk about ordinary people who did heroic things. Now that was a generation that took responsibility. They offered NO EXCUSES.
