A movie which I have never seen!
But I saw The Postman, not once, but TWICE yesterday-it had continuous showings at our house. In honor of Freddy, who would have been a much more acerbic and intellectually appealing Postman, and no doubt is a better actor than Kevin Costner, we saluted and cheered frequently. Costener is enamored of long, slow, meaningful close-ups and pregnant pauses before such gripping lines as "What's a Postman?" It was 178 minutes lonnnnnng.
