indulge in a 3 day argument about whether someone said polyunsaturated when they really meant monounsaturated that's a level of detail most people don't care to deal with in this venue.

I understand that. I don't like to spend three days on something like that either. The fascinating part of the phenomenon to me is why it takes three days to dispose of such simple matters. The simplest way to respond is to say, "oh, yeah, I did mean monounsaturated, oops." Or, "no, I really did mean polyunsaturated and here's why." But that so often doesn't happen. And studying how and why it doesn't happen is what engages me. This place is quite the petri dish.

Here's a classic: siliconinvestor.com

I gave a supplementary response to a post to provide a more detailed answer and what ensued was a colloquy on whether or not I had already replied. Hopefully that one won't take three days to resolve. <g>

We're not designing anything.

Different people are here doing different things. They are often at cross purposes. It can be frustrating/annoying all around.

When you suggest that the US adopt the Swiss model for health care, you're proposing a new design whether consciously or not and, in doing so, inviting vetting from those who are interesting in fixing the problem.

So when you try to tell people...

I appreciate the direct feedback, btw.
