To All;
This morning I posted; <<Speaking for myself, and to the undisciplined posters
and contributors out there who just have to engage in one-line response to one-
line responses, and so on ad bloody infinitum; let's tighten up a little out there.

Well, I never expected such a reaction to a simple request, I must say! Although
toward the end of the evening Mr. SER and Mr. 2 carried on using one line postings,
in public, that which more effectively could have been done in the background by
Private Message, a keen feature here on SI. Let's all use it! Anyway...
I very much appreciate today's civilized exchange of divergent opinions. Most of
the postings today were carefully thought out and presented in a manner that, to
me at least, felt honest and sincere. I have no reason to believe that some mirror
reflection of our interactions here on the thread is not taking place among those
who, unlike us mere kibitzers, actually will make the choices and decisions that
will affect the fate of our holdings.
I must make one comment on what I feel is a sentiment of artificial hysteria that
recently is being promoted by some on this thread. To the extent that dialog and
exchange is stimulated by such antics I like it and it does let off a little steam.
But when such expressions, even though not intended, threaten to destabilize tenuous
new beginnings, fragile transitional conditions, putting livelihoods and even
families right into the danger zone, such stuff ceases to be amusing...especially
to those involved. If anyone would like to know exactly what I mean here feel free
to ask in a Private Message. (Just click on my name in blue at the top of this page.)
It is possible that the lines of divergent opinion drawn today will continue to be
explored tomorrow and on; and to those involved I ask that our audience of lurkers,
posters and contributors all be considered when you post. I have always hoped that
the civility and open mindedness most of us (at least attempt to) emulate here on the
thread would be mirrored in this company's management and now is a good time to
promote that cause by staying calm cool and collected while things get sorted out.
Welcome to all the new posters, ex-lurkers etc. Thanks for the contributions you
made today. Please, keep it coming.
