I actually got good advice from the nutty one and she also taught me how to crochet, knit, cook, play cards, make the jams and jellies and iron, so for that I'm grateful. I got lots of gifts from the other one because she traveled a lot and brought interesting things back from strange places. My paternal grandmother was full of stories about the great depression and family lore. I loved listening to her stories, but in retrospect, I wish I'd asked her more questions. I think most of us feel that way about our parents and grandparents.
