Good Morning Dick,

Why is Naxos wasting monies on a orebody they don't even understand?
How do you get to understand the orebody without spending money on it? Every orebody is a complex metalurgical puzzle and money needs to be spent to analyze it. Check any developmental mine.

There is no point drilling a placer type property if the ore cannot be processed by conventional means.
Based on the recent report from hole #5 they are able to obtain results in the .2 opt range on untreated ore using standard processing techniques and standard fire assay. This indicates the ore can be processed by conventional means. So the drill program makes tremendous sense if it shows that the rest of the deposit will also show results from standard processing.

You need to get the proper independent analysis done before you can think about building a pilot plant or drilling more holes.
Dick hold onto yourself real tight, we may agree on something. First the independent analysis is being done. The labs in the US are analyzing the drilled material and they are independent. MDM is analyzing the ore and trying to determine the best method of processing. They are independent and that is the type of analysis they are very good at. I do happen to agree that the pilot plant should probably not proceed until this analysis is completed. I have posted this opinion several times including a post to Steve yesterday. However I disagree re the drilling program. I believe it is important to proceed with the drilling. We have indications of good results from conventional techniques and a 28 hole program will go a long way to proving whether this exists throughout the orebody and gives us a solid baseline.

What is the status of the South Africans?
After years of struggle they have thrown of the chains of apartheid and are struggling to heal the wounds and build a viable democracy. Sorry, couldn't resist. As indicated in the previous answer MDM, the South Africans, are continuing to work on the analysis. I have heard comments that their analysis is going well but have heard no specifics.

No doubt these concerns will go unanswered as usual because of the child like state of this thread.
If you ask straight questions in a normal manner you will get straight answers back. If you act like a flamer you will get treated like a flamer.
