With Mr. Kay gone and just a skeletal force left in the hunt for WMD in Iraq, any find now would be perceived as a US plant. Whther they produce ex-Iraqi military folks to vouch for those WMDs is immaterial. Anything that shows US in a favorable light would be perceived as a US plant. They found Saddam then. And it takes this long to find the first WMD? That is what people will doubt.
