Alexa, I hope your right. But what if you are not? Sometimes their are no easy trade offs.

What I predict, and this is just pure speculation on my part. We will see a huge black market develop, selling CFC compounds. I believe it's already started happening. It will become like a drug trade. Many countries lacking the policing resources and not believing in the Ozone hole, or Global Warming cause fully, will quietly look the other way and allow it to happen.

Meanwhile we will pour many more millions into the coffers of these world body type organizations to combat the perceived problem.
This will go on for decades, and we will in the end spend many billions of U.S. tax payer dollars. Why? because the real battle has already been one. The PR battle. Look at the reaction at my suggesting these things may not exist at all, by intelligent people. It was almost like commiting religios blasphemy on the ask God thread.
